Pacific Avenue – San Francisco, CA

Architect G. Albert Lansburgh designed this property, now a landmark structure, as his own residence in 1924, in San Francisco’s Pacific Heights.

The renovation of the home accommodates a family’s extensive collection of modern art, using the contrast of the historic home and the modern interiors to the benefit of both, and provides an elegant background for the art collection. Work included a full seismic upgrade, and compliance with the Secretary of the Interiors Standards for the Treatment for Historic Properties.
